![]() Hover can quickly get to center and then retreat just as fast. Mender does have a good ability, but there are better options. Finally, Kumiho is probably the least seen beacon-runner, but that doesn't mean it's terrible! I used to have one and it took out a lot of Striders in Master League. Lancelot, Fury and Weyland are great tanks that can survive for long and dish out heavy damage back. Pursuer is a beacon-runner that can function as a loki with weapons every 20 seconds. Rayker is one of my favourite robots just because it does good damage and suppresses with its ability, not to mention it being cheap compared to most robots. Hellburner is very fast and does tremendous damage with Overload. Raven is great because of the damage boost it receives as well as its mobility. Finally, Hades is not seen as much as the others on the list, but I think it deserves this spot because its only a little less common than the Ares. If they fire back at you, you won't take as much damage because you have DR and you're ridding them of their greatest power. Meanwhile, I think Ao Guang is a great counter to the Ao Jun because on flat surfaces, it can take out flying white dragons because it flies at the same elevation, so you can fire at them. Two unpopular opinions of mine, but I think Cerberus can take things out like leechs, striders, ao juns, ares and lokis if piloted correctly. Tyr is one I didn't expect to put for S, but I see at least one every one or two games or so. Ares is an old best robot who is still good, but kind of suffers to the hands of things like leechs and ravanas. These are still seen, but not as common as the others. Finally, Loki and Strider are both pretty common beacon-runners, but you will mostly see them in Beacon Rush or Domination as it is their big strength. Both of them can tank multiple robots at once, and my level 7 Fenrir can survive with Advanced Repair Unit against 2 ao juns and a leech. ![]() Fenrir and Falcon I think are both evenly seen, but Fenrir is a bit better because it is more all-around. ![]() Phantom is a really fast tank that can teleport, so it is still very common. Meanwhile, Leech and Blitz can take a few lasers, and they will run up to the Nightingale and make toast out of it. A Ravana will chase it down, an Ao Jun will counterstealth and if they have Yang Lee, will roast our bird to pieces. They are less common than the ones mentioned above, and while they have the best supporting ability (other than Nodens), they lack the power that the above have. I have a reason for putting Nightingale here. These are less common than the top 4s, but they you will see a few of them a game. They are like a leech but instead suppresses so nothing can damage it. As for Blitz, they are becoming increasingly common with the Clive Vicious pilot. Ravana is ridiculous with RWF weapons, Ao Jun and Leech have the most skirmishing strength. My top 4s haven't changed, and the reason why I put them in SSS Tier is because I see multiple of these robots per game in Champions, and they define the meta. Note that anything left out of this tier list is not part of the meta, as I am only ranking the robots seen in Champion League. Enjoy! Please comment if you don't agree with the list. ![]() Also, I will explain the meta as of right now, late may 2020. The only reason I didn't put them higher was because they are a pretty rare sight in Champs league for me. I agree with most of you guys on your opinions on strider, nightingale and loki. I know a lot of my robots and choices in the recent tier list I did was fairly inaccurate, but now I have the time to rewrite it fully. ![]()
